List of Banned Items that are not eligible for verification

  • •Pork and its derivatives (bacon, ham, sausages, gelatin made from pork)
  • •Alcohol and intoxicating substances
  • •Beer, wine, liquor, and foods containing alcohol
  • •Improperly slaughtered meat
  • •Carnivorous animals and birds of prey (lions, tigers, eagles, etc.)
  • •Certain dairy products (cheese made with non-halal rennet)
  • •Blood and blood-based products
  • •Meat not slaughtered according to Islamic guidelines
  • •Foods containing animal-derived enzymes or gelatin
  • •Insects and their derivatives (except locusts, which are considered halal)
  • •Any food contaminated with non-halal substances
  • •Cross-contamination with pork or alcohol
